My professional background (separate from my writing)...

 

I currently work for a global abortion provider, supporting reproductive and sexual rights programming in West Africa in partnership with Afrofeminist organizations in Senegal. I previously worked for peacebuilding organizations in Delhi, Canada, and the UK, focussing on humanitarian and human rights support in Kashmir, Myanmar, and Occupied Palestine. I have also worked as the National Coordinator of the Canadian Freelance Union, working with hundreds of journalists in Canada to organize for fair working conditions and heightened press freedom. Before moving to the UK, I was based in India and Berlin.​
